Of all the Crawford clan Myra seemed to be the closest to Roy. He often came to visit us at our home.

Roy L. Crawford joined ministry of Central Texas Methodist Conference in 1924. Served as pastor in the following place: Brownwood 1 year. Robert Lee 2 years, Joshua 2 years, Palmer 5 years, Winchell 1 year, May 2 years, Graford 6 years, West 8 years, Moody 3 years, Crawford for many years. Member Conference Board of Missions, Chairman of Gatesville district board of education, Dean of Conference Older Adult Assembly, Reporter to Texas Christian Advocate. His civic activities include past President of Crawford Cicic Club, Chairman of Public School Week Coimmittee, Correspondent for Waco Times-Herald, Member Masonic Lodge, and a U.S. Weather Bureau Observer.
