In 1941 before Mom got married Perry would often take us all to the beach. Here he stands in front of his car at Newport Beach. All of us kids enjoyed the beaches in Southern California. Of course, the beaches didn't have quite the crowds they do today. We loved to play in the sand and have some hotdogs.
