In those years we often went to the beach to swim and play. Here Dad and Loren play in the sand. It took several hours to drive to the beach. Remember no freeways existed in those days so you had to drive on city streets. Loren could enjoy himself with the minimum of external toys. He always had a ready smile and laughed a lot. I enjoyed being around him a lot. I was very proud of my baby brother.
