On Short Final

This is what it looks like on "Short Final." That is when you are correct for a successful landing. You have to arrive at the right place with the correct speed. Many runways are much longer than required for a light single-engine aircraft. But you must learn to hit the white stripes because you will have to make some landing on short runways. There you must be on the stripes in order to stop before the runway ends.
