Paul Noll is Visited by an Angel - Visit 1

One evening I began to experience sharp pains in my upper chest. I realized something was not right but that it was not a heart attack. Bernice quickly dialed 911 and and an ambulance arrived shortly. After a quick check we began a quick ride to the hospital some 11 miles away in Springfield, Oregon. By then I was having sharp pains in my chest and each breath made it worse. The emergency room began tests to determine the problem. One by one tests failed to reveal the problem. More tests were taken.

I was wheeled down various corridors and left in the hallway waiting my turn in a room being occupied for another test. Each breath hurt more and more. I closed my eyes and prayed. As I lay there with my eyes closed, a gentle voice said, "Would you like me to hold your hand?" Without opening my eyes I said a grateful yes. My hand was held by someone.

Almost at once the pain stopped and I fell asleep, When I awoke I was somewhere else and people were talking about me. Things were a blur for some time and they announced that they had checked for gall stones and had surgically made sure the gall bladder opening was open. They then decided to remove the gall bladder. This involves minimal invasive surgery but when they went in they discovered the gall bladder had died and gangrene had set in. Then they needed to open me up and major surgery to clean out the mess of the dead and gangrenous gall bladder. I spent the next 2 weeks in a blur recovering from this operation.

I am convinced that an Angel sent by God visited me that evening. I never had opened my eyes to check and that is just as well.
