Fascinating Tree 24

How Did That Happen?

Somewhere in the near past some trauma occurred to this tree. It's evident by the numerous sprouts of foliage on all of its remaining limbs. The gaping hole in the bottom center of the tree also shows evidence of a severe trauma the tree suffered. It roots still intact send much energy up the trunk of the tree to spark the new growth. In time the tree will grow large branches and turn into a much more normal looking viable tree. Just as this tree we, as humans, can recover from severe trauma provided we have strong roots in faith and the courage to continue. To me, additionally, the wide open "mouth" at the bottom of this tree symbolizes God's open invitation to all who seek him.
This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it.
