Popular in Scandinavia since the days of the Vikings. Upright evergreen suitable for sun or part shade. Plant alone or in rows. Very hardy in the cold. Has nutritious fruit. Striking evergreen plant to 16" high. Delicious berries for preserves. pastries, and fruit dishes. We planted one in 2005.
