Winter Pear

Pyrus communis Deciduous fruit tree. Ours is along our 1/2 mile long driveway. Bears extremely heavy on odd years. Tree is about 40-50 feet high. Tree is very vigorous and has no blight. We are not sure of the variety. It has been there for many years. I suspect it is a contribution from the birds. This picture taken on our driveway. You can see the house from here.
