Log Truck passing the Shopping Center

As I was taking a picture of the Pleasant Hill Shopping Center a log truck passed by. I leave it in because it is one of Oregon's main industries. Oregon leads the country in lumber production. Many wood-processing mills are in the surrounding area. Plywood, lumber, particle board, Charcoal Briquette Factory, and many other wood related products are some of the area's major industries. Another major industry is Christmas tree production. Many tree farms are in the Pleasant Hill area. As Christmas gets about a month away many dozens of trucks are seen taking Christmas trees to other states and to be loaded on boats for shipment to Japan, Korea and other countries. Many also cater to people who want to cut their own trees.
