Spindle Sander - Sears Craftsman

The spindle sander allows you to sand curved shapes. It has about six different sizes of spindles so you can sand different curves. As you can see each tool is hooked up to the dust vacuum with a flexible hose. A gate valve selects which hose is active. Just behind the gate valve on the left sits a switch to turn on the dust collector.The tool has a number of different spindles of various sizes for different curves. We have added a rack for the spindles on the right. The spindle rises and falls so it wears the sandpaper evenly.
