We just purchased this Brother label printer. It can easily produce labels. The machine has a USB port that allows you to create the labels on your computer. This allows you to have much more control over the label you make and to use the facilities much akin to what is on Microsoft Word. We have made labels for all our flowers and trees for our home. The machine allows you to print on 1/2 or 3/4 labels. It will run on 6 AA or an AC brick for 110 volts.
