16. Infantry Engagement

The two side blaze away at each other in this phase of the reenactment. In some of the picture you can see some simulated casualties. During the Civil War the South had 199,110 killed and 137,102 wounded. The North had 363,020 killed and 281,104 wounded. This was more than died in World War II (408,306).
