5. Easy Path to Beach

Our breakfast picnic table bordered the easy paved path to the beach. We shared the beach with about 6 other people. We unfurled out large kite and mounted the long 40-foot tubular tail and spinners. On the end of a 1000-foot of 100-pound test string our kite tested our strength to hold on to it. The string hummed a melody as it strained under the pull of the 8-foot kite in the brisk wind. It became a beautiful day on the beach.
