Chet and Landon both loved to go camping. They enjoyed playing outdoors and exploring. Paul worked at Pacific Telephone Company in Hayward. They allowed him to take days off on vacation. So we often took a Friday or/and Monday to give us a 3 or 4 day mini vacation. On one such trip we went to Turlock State Park to try out our new El Toro sailboat.
