Olympic Onion

Allium crenulatum - Uncommon, midsummer, perennial, 3-8 in. Erect leafless flower stem with hanging head, many basal leaves, just shorter than flowering stem. Grass-like leaves remain green through flowering. Flowers in numerous nodding clusters with bracts at base, pink to white, bell-shaped. Grows in moist rocky soils at low to high elevations. Native.
