Scrambled Egg Slime

Fuligo septica - Mushroom: 1-8 in long and nearly as wide, 3/8 to 1 1/4 in thick; cushion-shaped to irregular; slimy, white to yellow or ochre. Flesh whitish to yellowish, darkening with age, becoming black, bleeding when bruised. Season: May to October. Widely distributed in North America.
