Wildflowers Found in Oregon Stream Violet (Smooth Yellow Violet) (Pioneer Violet) Viola Glabella - Common, midsummer, perennial, 1-12 in. Tall erect stems with a single flower. Leaves heart-shaped, with sharp tips, entire or with small teeth. Flower dark yellow with maroon veins on 3 lower petals. The 2 side petals are bearded' lowest petal is spurred.
