Pyrola aphylla - Flower: Dark red to brown flower with a conspicuous, elongated, slightly curved, trunk-like style and stigma; five waxy nodding petals. Blooms: June to August. Leaves: None. Height: 4 to 8 inches. Found: Shady, dry coniferous forest.
