Iris pseudacorus Common, early summer, perennial, 1-3 ft. Erect stems and leaves. Leaves 1 in. wide, stiff. Flowers numerous, bright yellow, with brown marks outlining crest area, petals narrow near middle. Grows in waterways and other wet areas throughout North America at low elevations. Nonnative.
