1. Nominative Forms of Personal Pronouns

Use I, we, you, he, she, it, or they:

a. When the pronoun is the subject of a verb.
    She did not answer. He or I can work today.
b. When the pronoun appears after some form of the verb to be (am, is, are, was, were).
    It is I. This is she.

2. Objective Form of Personal Pronouns

Use me, us, you, him, her, it or them:

a. When the pronoun is the object of a verb.
    Bob gave Mary and us tickets. They invited my husband and me to a party.
b. When the pronoun is the object of a preposition.
    This is for you and her.
