After the old matted quilt is has been fluffed he and his partner retie the quilt. He has a frame with many nails on it. Using a winding reel of silk thread and a long tool they string the thread from nail to nail. You then reattach the cover and you have an almost new quilt. They had lots of customers and do a lively business.
