Protect the Bricks from the Rain

Nature is not too kind to the brick plant cooperatives. Winter is too cold to effectively dry much. When it turns warmer, however, it begins to rain. The rainy months are June and July. They spend a lot of time putting and taking off all those plastic sheets. Note that in the background center that they have created a monster stack of dried bricks under plastic that are ready for the kiln. This also gives them more space to stack additional bricks to dry.
