Rain Protection for Bricks

The bricks must dry for some time before they can be economically fired. When the weather forecasts rain or if it starts to rain without a forecast, everyone must hurry to cover the drying bricks with sheets of plastic. The empty rows in the foreground have gone off to the kiln and the uncovered rows are the next to go. Note that they use soil to hold down the plastic sheets against the wind.
