We Arrive Safely in Countryside

We Arrive at the City

Much to our delight we arrived at the Suiping County Seat safely. In the picture is Mr. Sun Anyaun, our Foreign Affairs Officer, Lewis Ke and me . Mr. Sun, Bernice. myself, and the driver stayed at a hotel in the city and Lewis took a bus to his home to get everyone ready for our visit. Bernice and I paid the hotel rooms for everyone so they would not be out for the visit. Lewis's Chinese name is Ke Shuheng, which means 'Study Books Hard' in Chinese. Lewis told us that both of his parents were poor peasants and neither of them could read but that they both were hard workers.
