Hainan is located on the southern coast of the People's Republic of China. Due to it's small size, Hainan is the smallest province of the P.R. of China. The Chinese government in Beijing claims that the Spratly Island and Paracel Island belongs to the P.R.C. but it's disputed by several countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The Straits of Qiongzhou separates Hainan. The Gulf of Tonkin in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam lies West of Hainan Island. The Wuzhi Mountain is the highest Mountain of Hainan Island. Hainan has very nice and beautiful beaches, lush greenery and clean air for tourists. There are many historic sites in the Hainan's capital city Haikou. It is most popularly know as Coconut city and it is a very important port. The luxurious hot spring, a beautiful scenery and famous beaches are the most tourist attractions.
