Two men are taking this pig to the market on a long bamboo pole. Why carry him? Why not walk him to the market? It is simple. First pigs don't walk well in a straight line and second he would loose too much weight on the walk and weight is money. Third hand labor costs nothing but your sweat. Farmers can get rich when they live near enough to the city to take their goods there to sell.
