20th Chinese Communist Forces (CCF) Army Actions
20th CCF Army Commanded by General Liu Fei, Consisted of the Following:
General Liu Fei 58th Division,
59th Division,
60th Division,
89th Division.
Action Taken in North Korea during Oct. to Dec. 1950

The 9th Army Group began moving into Korea on November 5th. Part of the 9th Army Group, the four divisions of the 20th Army crossed from Manpojin to Yudam-ni and covered the routes across the mountains leading to the west. At Yudam-ni the 89th Division were to hold the road against the Marines attack to the west. The 59th Division would cut the road south of Yudam-ni and hold the Toktong pass. The 58th Division would attack from the southwest and over-run the town. The 60th Division would cut the road between Hagaru-ri and Koto-ri and over-run Koto-ri.

In September 1952 the 23rd CCF Army replaced the 20th CCF Army and they rotated the 20th CCF Army back to China.
