Screech Owl Nest

Mount the Screech Owl Box on the trunk of a tree near the bend or crotch. It should be at least 15 feet high for best results. Screech Owls usually lay their eggs in the rotting wood chips and rubble found at the bottom of a tree cavity. You could add some wood chips and bark at the bottom of this birdhouse to encourage them to nest. I covered the box with some bark to make it look more like a tree cavity.
