Bird Feeders at Our Pleasant Hill
Suet Feeder for the Birds This Suet Feeder has many visitors of all varieties and sizes. The Stellar Jays enjoy it. The Scrub Jays are more furtive and much shyer than most birds. The Rufus Sided Towhees visit from time to time and do the Juncos. It lasts about a week. Many small birds pick up anything that falls to the ground. It is mounted on a 1.5" by 1.5" post about 5 feet off the ground. A nearby suet feeder with a cage around it allows the small birds to feed and denies entry to the big birds.
