We put the boiling hot vinegar mix into the pot of cucumbers and apply heat to bring the whole pot to a boil. In this picture the cucumbers are still quite green. They will turn color as they come to a boil. Here we have 3 batches of cucumbers/onions in the entire vinegar mix. Stir up occasionally.
