Step 4, Husk the Corn

Paul does the husking because he has the strength to do it quickly and easily. He removes the husk, trims the ends (both) and does the major silk removal. He will also trim off any worm evidence. In this last batch of 80 we have just one with minor worm activity. We prefer to work in our garage due to the potential mess, especially when you cut and scrape the cob. We put a plastic tarp down to ease the cleanup.
