Step 12, Remove Jars, Cool and Store

Remove jars from canner. Use tool shown to prevent burning your hands. See tools we use for better view of the tool. We place them on newspapers and let them cool for at least 12 hours. Test for seal. Bernice says I never have a failure to seal. Remove the bands on the next day. We wash them in warm water and let dry. Store with the rings off. When you open them to use put a put ring back on.
