Dwarf Onion

Allium parvum - Common, midspring, perennial, 1-5 in. Stem upright, round to slightly flattened, but no flattened edges. Leaves 2, flat and strongly curved, sickle-shaped, 2-3 times longer than stem. Flower heads round, with 4-10(-30) white to deep pink flowers. Flower petals contain dark pink midveins, stamens deep inside throat. Grows in rocky clay soils, at mid to high elevations. Native.
