Activities in Korean War

General Deng Hua was the Deputy Commander of the CPVF-NKPA Headquarters. CPVF is the Chinese Peoples' Volunteer Forces. NKPA is the North Korean People's Army. Later he became its acting commander and political commissar. By the end of the war Deng became the de facto commander and political commissar. On his return he served as deputy chief of the PLA Genera Staff.
