23. Zhou Enlai Visits Wounded Chinese Soldiers

During the "War to Resist America and Aid Korea" as the Korean War became known in China, many PLA soldiers became wounded or suffered serious injuries due to the bitter cold. Here Zhou Enlai visits wounded and injured PLA soldiers in a Chinese hospital. He cheered up the soldiers and expressed his appreciation of their efforts in the war.
